Scottie on the Hudson ︎

RESTAURANT BRANDING



Bridging the Atlantic gap to bring Scottish Cuisine to the Hudson River Valley. Abranding concept for a contemporary Scottish-American restaurant located Poughkeepsie, New York, in the heart of the Hudson Valley region.

Owned and operated by Scots, they brought over their traditions to a place that reminds them of home. Scottie on the Hudson offers an authentic atmosphere of modern Scotland through food and drink.

Core Logo
The brand identity is inspired by two entities:

The Scottish Terrier, also known as the “Scottie” is one of the more popular Scottish breeds and is most often seen on shortbread tins and postcards.

The grey ripples are to represent the Hudson River, which runs through eastern New York in the United States.

Thank you for visiting my website. I am passionate about creating meaningful designs that inspire others. Focused on multifaceted results from initiation to completion. 

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, a minor in Digital Design and Fabrication (3D Printing) with Honors from the State University of New York at New Paltz. I additonally studied Communication Design on exchange from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design at the University of Dundee, Scotland.
